Amies Technical Team includes two time served injection mould toolmakers with more than 60 years combined experience across hands-on Toolmaking and Tooling Engineer roles in a number of market sectors.

This expertise combined with a comprehensive panel of approved and highly capable toolmakers in both the UK and Far East means Amies are very well positioned to meet all customers tooling needs.

Our panel of approved toolmakers are all companies that Amies know well and that cover the spectrum of capabilities, specialities and cost levels. Because of the strong working relationships we have built up over many projects with our partners, we are able to select the most suitable toolmaker for a given tool to achieve the required outcome at the best cost.

On multi tool projects we can blend the capabilities of different partners to maximise cost -effectiveness and ensure the right outcome on each component.

We take responsibility for the specification of the tool, check all designs in detail and project manage throughout the construction and validation process to arrive at an approved part ready for volume manufacture, supported by a comprehensive tool warranty.
